I could attend the course outside my working hours and outside my family schedule. So, choosing Khawar’s SD-WAN training was the safest and more economical choice. The Masterclass was so terrible that I had a biased view of the Cisco SD-WAN300 course. I have access to SD-WAN Masterclass provided by Cisco to its partner (require to have your Cisco account associated with a known Cisco partner) but after watching the first few videos, I thought it was a total waste of time. Cisco also has its own authorized SD-WAN online training SD-WAN300 for quite a reasonable price USD $750 but I don’t know the quality of this. Comparing to the other SD-WAN online or onsite courses that could cost up to AUD 5,000, I remember that a few years back I attended an onsite Cisco ACI course for around AUD 5,000 from an authorised Cisco training partner but I didn’t think I’ve received the AUD 5,000 knowledge value, and that’s another story. It appears that for USD 500 (AUD 750) the course seemed quite appetizing. A course I virtually attended in May – June 2020 for six weeks on every Sunday starting from 02:00 AM until around 08:00 AM in Sydney time (AEST GMT +10) while Khawar himself teaching it from Dubai (GMT +4).ĭuring that time, I was looking for a practical SD-WAN online course that teaches SD-WAN deployment including some lab hours that I could hire to try it myself. Today marked my 6th day rewatching Khawar Butt’s Cisco SD-WAN videos.
